Research
We will be working in conjunction with an international panel of experts to equip and staff a laboratory where species endemic or indigenous to the continent can been properly DNA sequenced and adequately characterised using other scientific methods.
Training
Our expert panel will share their knowledge and skills through the construction and delivery of vocational training packages. It is important that we ensure that local people gain such skills, are able to build on them and pass it on to future generations.
Food testing
Using the equipment in our Bio Analytical Laboratory we will be training staff to offer a high quality food safety service to local producers.
